Guest
Hi, I would like to request an option for even larger subtitle sizing on the web player. I currently have subtitles set as "Extra Large" and I feel that when I am watching a movie with subtitles on my TV that the subs look way too small. If I compare to VLC, for example, "Extra Large" on Emby is about half the size of VLC's default size. It's like 16 pt font vs 40 pt font. Huge difference especially if you are streaming to a TV. More details: I'm referring to when specifically using the SRT/downloaded subs and playing through the web interface on a Windows 10 machine. PenkethBoy 2063
are you sure they are srt subs and are they external? if you have more than one did you pick the srt file or track if embedded? i just tested with external srt file with normal size and got this via web browser - chrome
Guest
I am 100% sure these are SRT subtitles. This happens across ALL my movies. Here are screenshots confirming this as well. I'm also providing both VLC and Plex for comparison. Not sure why my subs in Emby via web browser are so small. If I set Emby to the smallest subtitle size, it's literally unreadable (like equivalent to 4 pt font). One last thought... I am using Firefox in case the browser makes a difference. Guest
Ah ha! Okay so I just tested Chrome and the subtitles look totally fine there. So this is somehow an issue specific to Firefox for me.
