Well, that's a little different. For emby transcoding, it doesn't really use the GPU, it mostly uses the ICs. But I imagine there will be big improvement with that, too.

I'll be getting a 3070 or maybe even a 3080... but it will be for my gaming rig... not my Emby server.

I'm more interested in the all the 2XXX cards that are going to hit the market cheap for that.  :)

I wasn't implying that it doesn't, only saying that with Nvidia cards, a large part of the work utilizes the ICs as opposed to loading up the GPU, directly.

I've got a brand new EVGA 2060 XC Ultra Gaming, in the original box, that I'm probably going to sell. I have two of them, and this one is collecting dust.
