mark-in-dallas 86 Posted August 25, 2020 Share Posted August 25, 2020 Is there any way to force Emby to Direct Stream to the LG Client App instead of Direct Play? The reason I want to change to direct streaming is because I believe that will make the skip functionality work in Live TV, as it does in other apps that show videos as being direct streamed. I use IPTV and everything is streamed in the .ts format. I have tried going into the Dlna settings and adding and removing the .ts format from the LG Smart TV video profiles for Direct Play , Container and Codecs, but that had no effect.. mark-in-dallas 86 Posted August 25, 2020 Author Share Posted August 25, 2020 Yeah I found I could do that, but then I'm left with a choice of playing all media at a lower bitrate, or constantly having to change it.
