dance4ever 11
hi! I’m a newbie to emby so kudos to the team for allowing me to get a media server up in no time complete w WAN access (wow times have changed w UPnP! A media server has been an on/off project since 2002 when I acquired my friend’s x486 server for hundred bucks!) the first time I booted Emby, I saw a menu bar icon. subsequent boots, it’s disappeared. how do I get the Emby menu bar icon back? I’m on macOS 10.15.6 on a Mac mini server (Mid 2010) (dosdude1 patch)

dance4ever 11
yup - it definitely is. This is not a showstopper as I assume the task bar is used to stop or reboot the server which I can do from the web UI. just letting you know

dance4ever 11
oops important details macOS 10.15.6 the icon bar decided to show up after quitting and restarting the app. I don't see a pattern I'll circle back if the issue has completely gone away for whatever reason. Right now, super happy w Emby!

dance4ever 11
heads up after my last reboot, the tray icon is missing again. The tray icon process is running. This is even lower priority as I just posted a question as to how to prevent the tray icon from starting in the first place.
