michelmlz 0
How to use DLNA on an external network? I can only use DLNA on an external network using the chromecast TV. Is it possible to use this function in any other way? I saw something about opening port 1900 on the router. Carlo 4330
Is that a typo? Did you mean you can only use DLNA on the Server network?

Carlo 4330
DLNA is a specification that requires all devices to be on the same network. It doesn't work through the Internet. You should however be able to use an Android phone to cast to a Chromcast remotely but that won't use DLNA.
