Buenas tardes, no termino de entender, el tema de los subtitulos en Emby. Me explico. Veo que los subtitulos srt, los reproduce Emby de manera directa, pero hay otros subtitulos, con extensión por ejemplo ass, o pgssub, que obliga al servidor a transcodificar. Hay alguna manera, de descargarlos o configurar Emby, para que no transcodifique Emby? Muchas gracias...

Not in the way you are asking based only on type of subtitle.

How this get's handled is all about the functionality of the client itself.  Some can play many types of subs while others are more narrow and require the server to transcode in order to use them.

What you can try to do is setup your library to have Emby download external SRT (text file) subtitles for the media which will get used instead of transcoding.

Hola, de bueno, ya he configurado el complemento Open Subtitles, me he dado de alta, y he ejecutado la programación de la descarga de subtitulos, pero cuando entro en una serie, veo que sigue sin darme opción de subtitulos. Lo hago manualmente y veo una serie de subtitulos a descargar, pero me da error en el procesamiento, que lo intente más tarde. Alguien sabe como solucionar esto? Muchas gracias..

Try this again and then upload your server log file.

We should be able to see in the logs what the problem is.

Este es el registro de Emby, una vez que de nuevo he escaneado la biblioteca de series para que descargue subtitulos y después de haberlo intentado manualmente...Gracias...

So your system is throwing errors trying to use OpenSubtitles.

Did you configure the plugin after installing it?

Si, por supuesto..Me registre en Open Subtitules, y en el plugin de Emby Server, me di de alta con esos datos ... Alguna idea?

I'm also seeing this

So it could be as simple as you've reached the limit you can use each day and will need to try again in 24 hours

OR get an Open Subtitles VIP account.

De acuerdo, pues entonces, dado que tengo una biblioteca muy amplia, esperaré unos dias, a ver si realmente descarga correctamente los subtitulos...Muchas gracias...Informaré del asunto...

What I would do for right now while testing is turn off the automatic downloading.

This way you won't exhaust your limit during nightly processes and can manually download specific movies for testing.

Once you have that working then turn the automatic downloading back on.

I honestly don't know the answer to that question but would assume it's under 1000. :)

I've got a pretty big library with over 100K+ videos so when I added the externals subs I used a couple of servers pointed at the same media EACH with it's own/different VIP account and I staggered the nightly runs so they didn't trip over each other.  Still took a while but basically cut my time in half doing that.

Cayars, me funciona perfectamente...Muchas gracias..Quisiera hacerte una ultima pregunta en relación a este tema...A mi lo que me interesan son los subtitulos forzados fundamentalmente para aquellos tramos de películas o series que hablan en otro idioma....¿Puedo configurar la descarga automatica de Open Subtitle, para que solo me descargue dichos subtitulos forzados si existen? Muchas gracias...
