Nyquis 2 Posted July 18, 2020 Share Posted July 18, 2020 Hi, Is there anyway I can choose where emby stores the metadata it get from schedules direct for live tv? Emby is storing it on the C drive in appdata and this is eating up my disk space on that drve, I would like to tell emby to save the metadata on another drive, can ths be done? Carlo 4330 Posted July 18, 2020 Share Posted July 18, 2020 Since you know the location where this is being stored, check and see if it's in the same MetaData location as shown on the Dashboard down the bottom where the Paths are shown. Carlo 4330 Posted July 19, 2020 Share Posted July 19, 2020 Sorry, I neglected to mention how you can change the MetaData path if needed. To change this path setting in Emby you would select the Library menu in Webadmin. Then you select ADVANCED up top. Right at the top of the screen you'll find the field for MetaData Path that you can use to change the location. If this is something you want to do you can copy the data from the current location (can find this location on the Dashboard Path section) to your new location. Then after copying the data enter the new location into the MetaData path field. I'd then restart the server and make sure everything is working.
