Why just a Windows dll?

Can you compile it for Linux?

An add-on would be great.

SubDivX made big changes to the search engine and its website, now they are only subtitles, and yes, it is one of the best and best curated sites for subtitles in Spanish.

Thank you anyway.

Emby plugin dlls are normally universal so it probably does support both.

Hola.

Con qué compilaste ese dll?

Si es con mono a lo mejor se pueda hacer algo para las versiones de Linux

If it was compiled in mono maybe so.

Going to try.

But the question is where that dll needs to be... 🤔

As luke say, it's not need any extra work to run this plugin on linux.

The emby plugins are on .net standard framework that are universal and cross platform.

You should copy the plugin dll to the plugins directory inside emby folder.

Esa era mi duda, no sabía si tenía la capa .net

Yo hago contribución a la comunidad SubdivX hace varios años :)

Agradezco mucho tu trabajo!!!

Probado!!.

Trabaja perfecto!!

Works perfect!

Debian 10.

It seems that is having issues with my setup. It says that it fails to download subtitles due an error determining the "compressed stream type". Also it shouldn't have tried to download subtitles for that show as that show already have subtitles. This is with Emby Server 4.7.0.0 running on Ubuntu Server.

I don't know if this is related to the plugin or the Beta server, or both.

Does that error occur for any subtitle download or only for that series?
I'm going to check it

So far it had happened with this items:

  • The Batman - Series
  • Daria - Series
  • Jumanji - Movie
  • Constantine - Movie
  • Cowboys & Aliens - Movie

It only happens with SubdivX plugin, by manually editing subtitles for Cowboys & Aliens and manually download subtitles from Open Subtitles & SubDivX the subs from Open Subtitles downloaded without problems and the Subs from SubDivX say that "there was an error" and in the logs says the same problem of "compressed stream type". I'm now on 4.7.0.1 beta.

Edit: Just tried with another movie (Coco from pixar), and the subtitles downloaded without problems, may be it has something to do with those specific subs or the way they are uploaded.
