LetoTheSecondth 0
Hi, I've used Emby for a little while, and it's been great. However I've just moved all my machines over to OpenBSD, including my media server, for convenience. Is there any possibility of getting Emby support for it as a platform? BSD is listed as supported, but that seemingly only points to FreeBSD. I'd rather not switch OS, and unfortunately my only options right now is figuring out a convoluted system with Kodi and just setting up the server as a NAS which would probably painful, or figuring out how to port Jellyfin which would require more time than I have considering they have no BSD support whatsoever, and the convenience of Emby is great! P.S. I'd emailed to cancel my account but Billing had said they thought OpenBSD might be supported, though if it's not it's understandable as I'm aware porting to new systems can be difficult, but if FreeBSD is supported, most of the work is probably already there. Luke 36879
Hi, can you try our freebsd beta instructions? That might work for openbsd.
