j-will 0
When attempting playback from a fire TV cube using the Emby application, the screen just goes black with no audio or video. Server Dashboard shows playback is occurring. But it looks like it is reset every 10 seconds. Server system appears un-phased: CPU and RAM have minor upticks in utilization, network activity increases as expected. playback hardware: Fire TV Cube (1st gen); app version 1.7.92a Registered Server: Windows 10 VM, passthrough Intel gfx 530; software version 4.4.3.0 Playback occurs normally when using iOS, Andriod OS phone/tablet, and Windows. Attached are the two most recent logs. It appears as though no transcoding took place, as there is not a remux file for this time period. Any help in pointing to me toward some more troubleshooting steps would help a lot. embyserver.txt hardware_detection-63729110017.txt Edited June 30, 2020 by j-will added software versions

ebr 14911
Also, can you cause the problem and then follow the instructions to send a log from the app? Thanks.

ebr 14911
Can you please try again and make sure you back straight out to the app home screen and send the log without restarting the app. Thanks.

ebr 14911
Unfortunately, the Fire puts so much "noise" in the log that I still cannot see any critical playback information so let's try this: What is the exact media info for the item you are playing (from the web app detail page)? What is the Fire hooked up to and how? What audio setting is enabled in the app? You didn't disable any of the transcoding options in the server did you? ebr 14911
I didn't think the Fire Cube supported DTS... Can you try unchecking that option in the app?
