Help installing Emby on Qnap TS-128

Recommended Posts

sjkiss

Hi there, I've got a QNAP NAS (TS-128) and it looks to me like it has a 64-bit ARM CPU so I downloaded the ARM-64 version and I tried to install it manually from the QNAP App Center and it just stopped at about 3% with an error saying the app could not be installed. It directed me to the system logs, but there's nothing there.

@sjkiss did you try rebooting the NAS and trying the installation again?

Is the QNAP system software fully up to date?

honestly, nothing special, if I recall. I think I had to go download one of the beta versions from the website? Downloading the qnap app, directly from the qnap app section didn't work.

HI there: sorry, let this drop. You mean of the Emby Server.

4.4.3. I see there is an update. I'll try that.

HI there: got this to work with no problems. It's just a little time consuming figuring out which package works with my NAS. But I figured it out and it works fine.
