berlinpose2 0
Whenever I have to restart my PC, the CPU Utilization is always at 100%. My CPU is Ryzen 5 1600. And this always happen when I have to restart my PC. But soon after about 5 minutes, the CPU utilization going down to 2% ~ 15%. I look at the startup apps, and there's only 5 apps that I have run during startup, which is Spotify, Malwarebytes, NVidia, Steam, and NordVPN. Is this normal for a 3 year old gaming PC? Do I have to reinstall Windows to fix this? 192.168.0.1 routerlogin 192.168.l.l Edited June 10, 2020 by berlinpose2
lorac 100
When you restart Windows it needs to load various programs and services. These start at the same time or one after another which is why your CPU is maxed out for a short period of time. Happy2Play 8144
What programs does the task manager show utilizing the cpu at that time?
BAlGaInTl 279
What programs does the task manager show utilizing the cpu at that time? Same question. It would be interesting to know what's causing the behavior. It seems like normal operations. Do you boot from a normal spinning disk, or from an SSD? That can make a HUGE difference in how long your system takes to fully boot.
