Emby Roku app not seeing local users

Had a network crash today - had to move to a new router.

After the move and having everything set up, all my TV's see my Emby server just fine. The problem is when I open the Emby Roku app, none of my local users are shown.  The only options for my server are "Manual Login", "Wake Server" and "Remove Server".

Normally I see all of my families individual accounts.  I've rebooted my emby server, my TV's, my Roku's - and what's odd is if I choose "Manual Login" and type in one of my family's names and passwords, it works and I can get in to their accounts, but after logging out, it still won't show me any of these local accounts.

Emby Server version: 4.4.3.0.

I've tried this with both the normal Emby app and Emby Beta app on Roku.

Emby Connect works just fine.  On the local network it's simply not displaying any of the local users.

I've also tried editing a user (something small) and clicking "Save" hoping to jar something loose, but it didn't work.  Additionally, in the Emby app I deleted the server, rebooted, reloaded and each time the Emby app sees my local server without any problems - just won't show the local users. :\

Any help would be appreciated.

It sounds as if the Roku is on a different subnet from the server - perhaps the new router uses a different subnet by default from the old one, and only the Roku hasn't caught up with the change yet so the router sees it as an external device.  I'd want to see the Emby network settings and what IP address the Roku thinks it has to say anything more definite.

Hi.  Yes, this is probably a combination of what pwhodges said and the fact you probably have the option to hide logins on remote connections turned on.

So today on my roku I did a complete network reset and re-connected to the new router. Then in Emby I deleted the server again, logged out and exited the app, went back in and it found the server and sees the users.

So I believe you were both correct - I did have the "hide logins" options enabled, but the one thing I never did on the Roku was completely removed the network (just refreshed it) and the subnet did change from router to router (255.255.255.0 to 255.255.0.0), and I'm guessing Roku was retaining the old subnet.

THANK YOU for the answers/suggestions!
