When I try to add users under server and user, I get this error message.

There was an error adding the Emby Connect account. Do you already have an Emby account? Register here:.

If you still have a problem, please email support@emby.media from the email address you used to register for the Emby account.

Alphabommel

Hello,

I am unable to refresh the plugin catalog. My DS411 has been rebooted several times, and emby app restarted several times as well. I even deleted the cache via SSH. I am at a loss understanding what is going wrong :(

I run Emby 4.4.3.0 on DSM 6.2.3-25426

I have the same problems. Any updates on possible solutions?

I am using Emby Server Version 4.4.3.0 on a Synology DS212j (DSM 6.2.3-25426).

Hi there, are you using a vpn or synology quick connect?

Negative to the VPN, affirmative for QuickConnect for remote login. Turned off QC and rebooted the NAS - still no joy. Even tried doing something as simple as a metadata search using IMDB tt# but got nothing. Search comes up completely empty - no matter what search keyword I use - just a blank screen for results. Something is getting in the way of emby connecting to the outside world. All was fine last month - no changes to hardware or software configuration on network or server - now I get nothing.

Dear tech, a similar problem since the update to the new version 4.4.3.0 (DSM 6.2.3-25426 and DS1019+), plus I have the Trakt synch problem too.

Hello.

Same issue for me too. Checks for plugin updates consistently fails. No VPN in use, no quickconnect.

Emby 4.4.3.0
Synology DS212+
DSM 6.2.3-25426
(CPU is Marvell Kirkwood 88F6282, same as at least 3 others users in this thread)

Thanks in advance!

Can confirm I have the same issue, from a fresh install.

Movies are not properly scraped. Manual "identify" in the Meta Info Manager doesn't bring up any information from "Search" queries. Plugins catalogue keeps spinning wheel with no results.

  • DS213
  • MARVELL Kirkwood 88F6282
  • DSM 6.2.3-25426
  • Emby Server 4.4.3.0

Hi,

I register to this community to confirm you are not the only one, I'm also running into this bug for weeks now, it's critical.

I'm running Emby on a DS411 NAS, last version of the firmware.

Thanks for your support

Interestingly your NAS model also runs on MARVELL Kirkwood 88F6282 CPU. Like multiple users experiencing this issue.

I can also confirm that i have this issue.
Bought a 2nd hand NAS last week and haven't been able to get this running.

  • Check for application updates failed
  • Check for plugin updates failed
  • Cant load Plugins catalog
  • (edit) metadata dosent download either, no artwork etc

Running:
Synology DS213
CPU: MARVELL Kirkwood 88F6282
DSM 6.2.3-25426

Emby: 4.4.3.0

Cant find any reason why it shouldnt get internet access. Have been trying to change ports just to make sure i dont have any conflicts on the network but no joy.

Let me know if you need logs

Confirming that my Emby cannot connect to the internet - I can't do anything with it. What's causing this? This is extremely frustrating as I'm trying to set up a new server - I have two synology devices with the same problem.

I have a DS216j and DS918+ and am using a mac and a Windows 10 PC - no VPN or that Connect.

Nope, unfortunately no change - I've deactivated IPv6, restarted the Emby server, still facing the same issue.

But thanks for the suggestion.

Sure thing. I've zipped it due to the original size > 20MB, hope that's okay.

My assumption that it's still about an SSL / Trust issue.

Thanks for looking into this.
