Hi  :)

When I watch a movie and this one is not transcode (direct stream), I have no problem with the subtitle.

but if it is transcoded, I cannot see the subtitles because I have an "unable to download the subtitles."

i use strm file
On chrome even with the trasncodage I have no problem.

I have the problem only on android tv.

I sent the android tv logs at 6:17 p.m. UTC + 2 under the name yvan

thanks a lot for your help

Okay, the item is starting playing fine and then it looks like some sort of error occurs and it switches to remux - but I cannot see any actual error.

Can you please try either the release version of the app or update your beta version by side loading from here?

Its normal because when i launch the media its direct stream, and i use read correction to launch transcodage.

Do you speak french?

The beta version you have is not the most recent and I'm not sure if there could be a problem just in that particular version.  So can you either try the release version of the app or side-load the updated beta?

Why are you doing that?

Sorry, but no.

Why i doing That? Because my friend when he launch the movie, he is transcoded because he has a bad connexion.

For me, the only thing to launch transcoding its to activate read correcton. I send you all of this point by message 4th may

Hello,

for information

I found an option to activate transcoding on my strm. Just activate the read correction option. by activating this option it activates transcoding on the server and I can change the quality. Hoping it helps

Perhaps this is unique to the strm situation.  The app is being told those subtitles are external when we remux/transcode but they aren't.  So it is trying to load them the wrong way.

Ah :(

I think it is related also to the problem of strm and the change quality that I sent you in private message but no more response from you and luke :(

If you take this same item and make it an actual video file in your library, does it work as expected?

Hello @ebr and @Luke:),

I went on vacation with my Fire stick tv. I never had any problem when I'm at home.

Here in 4g connection the subtitles don't load. :(

I sent the logs at 8h41 eastern time (13h41 France Time) user Yvan - 2 eme Fire stick tv

The file is a strm, episode 4 of High score

On my laptop via chrome or on my samsung s20 with the same 4g connection, I have no problem with this file and subtitles.

Can you help me, I'm going crazy :)

The app is unable to find your subtitles remotely with that particular configuration (strm).

Can you play the same item selecting the same subs with the web app and then post the server log from that?

Thanks.

Hi,

Just curious but can you post a picture of the folder this strm resides in?  This way we can see the subtitle in reference to the strm file.

Thanks

Hi,

I have only one strm file. I don't have separate subtitles. In the strm I call an mkv file on my cloud, which contains the subtitles.

What you can try doing is copying the subtitle and having it present next to the STRM file.
