Toper 0
Hello! I got 7 seasons of GoT and it is coming into Emby like a Cartoon Series based on the original series. Already modified the media folders but nothing changed. Checking out the IMDB codes, they are correct, so why it is still pushing the wrong data? How can I change it automatically from another source to push the right seasons, cover arts and details??• Folder Details: Folders: Game of Thrones -> Game of Thrones Season 01, 02.. -> Game.of.Thrones_S01E01_Winter.Is.Coming Another thing: I have the featurettes and just put into a separate folder instead inside each when trying to get the correct Season structure, there is a way to separate them per seasons? Now it is showing all of them like one giant folder. • Folder Details: Game of Thrones -> Featurettes -> Featurettes S01, S02... Both results in pictures below. Thanks! rbjtech 4170
May I suggest you follow the exact naming standards that the tvdb has - including the 'specials'. https://thetvdb.com/series/game-of-thrones Folder naming should be - \Game of Thrones (2010)\Season 01\Game of Thrones (2010) - S01E01 - Winter is Coming \Game of Thrones (2010)\Season 01\Game of Thrones (2010) - S00E01... (match the featurette with tvdb) OR you can put them all in a single 'Season 00' folder and Emby will automatically put them in the correct Season based on tvdb data. ie \Game of Thrones (2010)\Season 00\Game of Thrones (2010) - S00E01 - Inside Game of Thrones .. ps - if you just search for 'Game of Thrones' in tvdb - you get the Cartoon as the first hit, so that is probably what Emby is trying to use as you have not specified a Year in your folder naming ... Solution Deathsquirrel 741 Posted May 28, 2020 Solution Share Posted May 28, 2020 The top result for 'Game of Thrones' on TVDB is no longer the Game of Thrones show from HBO. If anyone from TVDB happens to see this, that's stupid. Exact matches should be placed above partial matches. Regardless, @@rbjtech suggested the solution that should work.
pwhodges 1509
Alternatively, you can consider reordering the metadata providers. On TMDB "Game of Thrones" hits only the HBO TV series. Paul
