How to run Emby Server while logged out

OK. This is probably a dumb question but I've got to ask it.

 

I'm using my mac as a server as well as my everyday computer. I want to log out of it when I'm not sitting in front of it and using it, but want Emby server to be available to my other devices.

 

I'm using it on my LAN only.

 

Is this possible? At the moment the Emby process shut downs as soon as I log out and I cannot connect from my iPad.

 

Also the server settings has an option 'Launch the Emby web app in my web browser when Emby Server starts'. I don't understand what this does and whether I need to have it on of off.

Hi, to be honest I'm not sure. We haven't worked this out yet on macos, so I'm not sure that the process would be. It's something we can look into though. Thanks.
