I'm in procedures setup new linux box as before I normally just used one big 2tb drive for both OS and TV Recording for

But now I like reused a pair reg 3TB drive and old 128GB SDD

This will be a fresh copy of latest PoP!-OS 20.04

So what looking for some guide line on setup new unformat drive and any necessary procedures setup so that Emby see both as one folder or perhaps I some kind drive pooling zfs ?.

Consult the manual, or ask about your distro and filesystem recommendations on e.g. Freenode IRC.
This is not really emby related, is it?

It is when it not seeing the 3tb hard drive in /mnt folder as before there was nothing as it was set to user session defaults = on

So by turn it off and change the mount point to /mnt/disk1 emby is now able to see the 3tb drive and recordings folder that I add

I think I got it I hope now just fig the best of add in the 2nd 3tb drive in to mix

It sounds like mergerFS is what you'd want if you're interested in a JBOD pool and no redundancy for max capacity.

That place is a mess mastrmind

maybe, but it's a group of people who already use drive pooling and can recommend a good pooling os.

I use merger fs for media on 7-8tb drives. The Ubuntu 18.04 sees each drive individually and then sees them all as one big drive. I balance everything between the 7 drives. I'm looking at getting another drive for parity.

Here is the guide I followed -

Yeah I changed mine to balance across all drives as well. I prefer not to have any one collection at risk.

What problem was that?

Recording folder and file where not all in same folder one drive some parts where on disk1 while other parts where on disk2

Like the show it self would be on disk1 while the nfo and jpg would be on disk2 with same episode that problem

Your line keep in right order and is using the space from both drives
