Movies library showing as empty

Hello -

I have set up a library for TV shows and a library for movies - the "TV Shows" library works fine, the "Movies" library is showing as empty - I have followed all the naming and folder conventions for both.  My movie files are a mix of m4v, mp4, avi, and TS formats.  I have some movies in their own folders, others in a common 'loose' folder.

I even tried to make a new library with just one test movie inside as follows:

MoviesTemp/A Night To Remember (1958)/A Night to Remember.mp4

Where in Emby Server settings, the library is set to be MoviesTemp folder with content type Movies.  This seems strange as the TV Shows library is working well.

The library is showing empty from Emby Theater as well as through the web app.

Thanks in advance,

EE

I have run a library scan.

The test library that I made with one movie:

MoviesTemp/A Night To Remember (1958)/A Night to Remember.mp4

has MoviesTemp as the only folder added to the library.

You should try:

MoviesTemp/A Night To Remember (1958)/A Night to Remember (1958).mp4 --rename movie to same as folder

Or change the name of the folder to reflect the movie name.

Or try this:

MoviesTemp/A Night to Remember.mp4

My TV library folder (which is working):

RecordedTV/TV Shows

My test movie library (showing empty):

RecordedTV/MoviesTemp

Alright, I got it to work by changing the content type to "mixed content" (even in the test library with only 1 movie file, it would not work with content type of "movie").

That's very strange, but thanks for the feedback. We'll try to chase down why that happened.
