Is there a way to lock meta data?

Is there a way to "lock" meta data for a specific movie or television program so Media Server won't erase or change it?  I'm having a problem when I go to a lot of time and trouble to manually enter meta-data for movies or TV shows where the server isn't doing it automatically but sometimes all of my data gets erased (I think after a server update) and I have to enter it again.  And again.  If there isn't a meta data lock would you consider adding it in a future version?

Yes. Navigate to the edit page for the item you wish to lock, and expand the last section, "Metadata Settings". There is a checkbox labeled "Lock this item to prevent future changes".

there a way to do this i massive or batch mode? like select box, select titles and lock the metadata??? because doing one by one, having a huge library, take the eternity to finish

Hi, there isn't, but multi select editing is planned for the future.

If you want to do it for the entire library then you might as well just turn off internet metadata instead.
