Android stops reporting

After 2-3 songs, the Emby app on Android stops reporting back to the server. This renders reporting and integrations like last.fm and Home Assistant rather truncated.

I saw mention in an old version that this was due to the UI being put to sleep. I've adjusted my power saving options to leave Emby alone but it still occurs. Is there any way to fix this?

This happens even if I leave the app open in the foreground. I have not tested keeping my display on/visible (as if it were plugged in).

Steps are:

1. Open Emby

2. Play an album

3. Put phone down (don't navigate anywhere else or press anything else)

4. Let display turn off on its own

5. After a song or two the Emby server reports nothing is playing despite music still being heard.

If I press the power button and turn my phone back on, I see Emby and the current song, and the server immediately starts reporting my phone is playing again. No interruptions in the music are ever heard.

Hopefully that helps clarify - thanks!

I ran the process again and took some screenshots to help illustrate. There is a discrepancy in the Emby dashboard after the song that is playing when the phone display turns off is finished. See attached.

Can you please attach the emby server log from when this happened? Thanks.
