davidjhensley 2
Hi, my Emby server, running on my TerraMaster TNAS, crashed today right as I was browsing through the movies. It was running fine and then it stopped. So I looked on my web interface and it was stopped, and there appeared to be an update available. So I clicked update, and it stopped at 99% and said it failed. I cannot remember the exact error. Then I tried to start the server again and it says operation failed. I do not want to uninstall and reinstall as I will have to completely reset up the server again. Can anyone help? Thanks!
davidjhensley 2
I found this text file in the logs, with todays date on it, in case that helps. embyserver.txt Edited May 16, 2020 by davidjhensley
Luke 36887
Hi, did you try rebooting the NAS?
davidjhensley 2
Hi, did you try rebooting the NAS? Yes I have, several times. Is there a way to force the update to apply again?
Luke 36887
And I assume you've tried the update again after the first time?
davidjhensley 2
And I assume you've tried the update again after the first time? That's just it, I do not know how to get it to update again. Right now, the only option is to uninstall it.
davidjhensley 2
**UPDATE** I decided to try uninstall and reinstall just to get it running again (I was afraid I would have to reset all the emby server stuff back up again, but to my surprise, it actually fixed it and remembered all my previous settings!
