Hi,

I installed new client 1.0.78 on my UE65RU7022KXXH and now every DTS track isnt transcode anymore. Every movie with DTS is direct playing with DTS which client cant play coz known problem with Samsung TV(doesnt support DTS) and client finishing playing with msg "Playback Error No compatible streams are currently available. Please....".

Přímé přehrávání means direct playing...

I have allowed playing movies which needs trancode.

I dont have emby premiere anymore... Now I need to pay for Premier or is this bug?

Thx

It's working for me with "Allow audio playback that requires transcoding" turned on so I don't there's a bug.  I believe all transcoding requires Premiere, but @@Luke would need to confirm because I'm not sure.

But according to the logs it is transcoding

21:56:42.568 Stream mapping:
21:56:42.568   Stream #0:0 (hevc) -> format (graph 0)
21:56:42.568   subtitles (graph 0) -> Stream #0:0 (libx264)
21:56:42.569   Stream #0:3 -> #0:1 (dts (dca) -> ac3 (native))

Unless something recently changed only Hardware Acceleration requires Premiere from a transcoding standpoint.

Can you try disabling subtitles prior to playback? Please see how that compares. Thanks.

What hardware is Emby installed on?

It would appear to choke on the transcode/subtitle burn in.  The server can not convert the media fast enough.

That means that the client hasn't reported its playback position to the server.

I have Emby server running on Synology DS216+II(8GB RAM). It has enough power transcoding 4K/1080p(H244, H245).

Mostly I have movies in MKV container with DTS track and SRT/SUB subtitles and sometimes I have subtitles separately downloaded with opensubtitles module. In past I didnt have problems transcode anything.

You can see there isnt problem transcode movie with DTS-HD MA 7.1 and sub enabled when Im using Chrome.
