biffiny 0
Hello, My emby became unresponsive even after restarts so first I tried an update but still no joy. I removed emby and tried reinstall but I received this error both with standard release and the beta versions. --> App Center App Installation [App Center] Failed to install Emby Server due to data file error. I have tried re downloading the packages and even installing previous version that I know have worked in the past that I still had in my downloads folder QNAP MODEL TVS-882 Packages emby-server-qnap_4.4.2.0_x86_64.qpkg emby-server-qnap_4.5.0.8_x86_64.qpkg and obviously some previous releases. any help would be appreciated. biffiny 0
Hi, can you reboot the NAS and try to install again? Thanks. Hi Luke, *Fixed, it looks like EMBY removal left some traces in the /share/CACHEDEV1_DATA/.qpkg/ folder - I removed them and the installer worked just fine. Cheers, Biff. Luke 37049
That's strange. Have you tried uninstalling first? What was the last version you successfully installed?

Yes, I did an uninstall prior to trying the reinstall. Latest beta version has installed OK but only after removing the remaining folder from the /share/CACHEDEV1_DATA/.qpkg/ Biff.
