Music quality playback through android auto

I have been suffering from a playback issue when using android auto.

Emby functions just fine exploring my library but when i play an album the sound quality is very poor.

Sounds like it is playing in a puddle! I can use just bluetooth in the car and it works just fine.

It doesn't matter if its MP3 or FLAC.

Head unit is Sony XAV-AX3005DB

Phone Oneplus 7 Pro

I tested phone internet speed whilst playing music. It was at 50mbps ish.

If anyone has experienced this or has some suggestions it would be appreciated.

Thanks

Sure I will do. I have just been and tried it again so it's recent usage. I have found the issue. If I control the music from my phone it plays perfectly. Sounds as it should. If I use the head unit to change the music that's when it sounds terrible???

Strange. I'll send logs

I hope this is the correct way to attach a log file!

So i just tried again to find more information.

If you select an album and start playing using your phone. It works fine. You can then change tracks using the head unit. That works fine.

If you try and change album it will cause the sound quality issue again.

Hope this is helpful

Hi Luke

I have been using Emby with using the head unit only with no sound issues. It's working perfectly. Not sure if you have done a fix or Android auto update?
