ginjaninja 533
tested on beta I have been experimenting with playlists generated by playback reporting plugin [prp] more recently (but i believe the issue also affects smart playlist plugin) once a playlist is generated then refreshed there is a strong possibility that the roku client can not show the content of the playlist The playlist can be entered, the total quantity of items is shown and the playlist can be played at the the playlist level, but the individual members of the playlist are not shown. playlists which are created manually dont seem to exhibit the problem. whilst the roku client is adversely affected, viewing the playlist on the web client works as expected. to reproduce, configure and schedule prp to generate playlist of last 10 played episodes, every 15 minutes. after watching an episode recheck the playlist and pretty quickly it will start to misbehave. given that the web client can work whilst the roku is not at the same time, then perhaps this has something to do with client caching (although restart of client does not help) or an old api call? or perhaps these plugins are not doing things 'properly'. Luke 37060
Thanks, it's more likely a matter of making sure the Roku app is doing it the same way as the web app.
ginjaninja 533
i believe one cause of playlist content not showing is because the playlist is created with a blank type and not eg "&mediaType=Video"
