I trying to reproduce 4k content (90% of my library) on Samsung smart TV but its impossible to repodruce 4K content, it freezes for a few seconds and continues for another few seconds and freezes again. The same happens when I try to reproduce it directly on the server!

Does the same thing happen if you lower the in app bitrate/quality?  37Mbps can be a rather large bitrate for Streaming.

Can we look at an example of that? thanks.

The logs above are from Chrome at original bitrate.  Does the same thing happen if you lower the in app bitrate.

From another topic, but should be the same issue.  But your remuxes are audio and subtitles.

Streaming of high bitrate files that have been remuxed is a problem (for both LG and Samsung).  I would suggest playing one of the non-TrueHD tracks.  Be sure to select it from the details screen before commencing playback and it should DirectPlay without any problems.

But does the same happen if you select a lower bitrate of 20Mbps or lower?

I checked the first ffmpeg log and you didn't lower the quality setting like I asked. What exactly did you do? Please try setting it to something small like 1 or 2 mbps. Then work your way up as you see success.

I don't know if I'm doing it right ... I do it in the android application, network-> Internet streaming bitrate limit. I set even 1 Mbps but the same thing happens on android ... it doesn't freeze as much, but I think I'm seeing less than 10fps. Nothing fluid. on my samsung 4k television, it seems that it is more fluid, it has not frozen ... is this setting also for the local network?

"Internet streaming bitrate limit" does not apply to the local network.

An optional per-stream bitrate limit for all out of network devices. This is useful to prevent devices from requesting a higher bitrate than your internet connection can handle. This may result in increased CPU load on your server in order to transcode videos on the fly to a lower bitrate.

Each app/client should have a playback quality setting, but I don't know anything about the TV app.

In Chrome it would be your user icon-Playback.

I already found the playback settings, the highest that worked was 1080p-10Mbps, but my TV is 4K and I would like to see the content in 4K ... is there any reason why I can't do it? what is the problem ... my local network. The server?

Can you try setting the playback setting to a low value such as 1 or 2 mbps, then if you still have an issue, please supply an ffmpeg log example from that? Thanks.

Do to the playback method, if the client is able to DirectPlay the media I would assume you would not have a issue, but when there are tracks that are not and the server has to deliver the media by other means, the client is having issues with that.  Since your logs are showing Audio and or Subtitles being the reason for the remux, have you tried without subtitles, and a items that does not require changing to a supported audio format?

Yes, I did some tests with the players that I have available at 720-1Mbps, all on my LAN, cell phone, Chrome browser, 2 Samsung Smart TVs. The same happens in all cases, the reproduction froze and continued for a few seconds and re-frozen. Even sometimes the playback never started and gave an error. I attach the logs.
The problem is with 4k video source files when I try to watch 4k on my TVs. With 1080p movie files I have no problem, they play very well at maximum 1080p resolution. (If I lower the quality to 1Mbps, they also freeze).

Direct playback, that is with the quality settings in automatic, with files that are on the server at 1080p I have no problem. they reproduce perfect. If the original file on the Emby server is stored in 4K, this is where the problem of this thread starts!

Impossible to track with that many different logs but the one I looked at has a lot of errors in it that may be related to hardware acceleration, so please try turning that off.

Then, after that, it just looks like your machine is not powerful enough to transcode the content fast enough for smooth playback.
