Why is my Emby showing up without an IP address (LAN) in Windows? And the other devices in the house can't find the server.

Occasionally this could happen if the server is unable to determine your local ip address.

You can still connect from other devices though by manually entering the local ip address. Please let us know if this helps. Thanks.

If it does become a issue you may have to bind to system ip via Dashboard-Network

In my case it would be 192.168.0.103. It gives the message that it was not possible to connect to the selected server.

Are you able to use the web app from another device?

I can not. I tried it on the Mi Box in the TV room, on the mobile app, and unfortunately it gives this message.

I ran the tutorial that is on the support, to release port 80, and that didn't solve it.

The only different thing I said, is that when entering the command line and running ipconfig, Windows told me that my ip now:

Windows IP configuration

I'm sure it was 192.168.0.103. But even so I tested with 103 and 104 and it gives the same result.

You can always customize the local ip address in server network settings if you need to.

Dear Luke, I found that Windows or Emby get confused with an application called Checkpoit VPN, used for remote work. Perhaps because he manages an IP address or address. Do not know.

I just know that uninstalling this program, Emby returned to normal.

VPN's will make things more complicated, yes. If you're running a VPN then you might want to customize the local ip address under server network settings. Thanks for the feedback.
