Unknown Publisher on 1815+

Hey lads,

Just as an FYI is all - perhaps I've missed some info along the way and this is already known!?

I couldn't install the latest update due to it being "...published by an unknown publisher".

So I changed from "Synology Inc. and trusted publishers" to "Any publisher" and then it let me install the package.

 

 

 

 

It's all good, package is installed now and appears to be running just fine.

Although, Emby Server informs me there is now another update !?

Thanks for the feedback. I have seen that from time to time, but so far we've been unable to pin down exactly what is causing it.

 

The packages are signed, it just seems that sometimes the validation routine fails. It will typically resolve itself.

 

If you are able, please do run the 'Send Logs' utility as it may tell us something as it's happened quite recently : https://github.com/MediaBrowser/Wiki/wiki/Synology-:-How-to-Send-us-Support-Logs

 

Yes, there's a minor update on the way, I expect this to start rolling out for Synology/XPEnology on Sunday.

Oh, don't worry about the update thing, I'm not worried about that.

I'm sure it will show up when it shows up 

 

I've sent the logs though just now and was told to add this to my ticket...

sendlogs_TMN-NAS_synology_avoton_1815+_20200405T013257UTC.tgz

 

Hopefully there are timestamps within the logs and if there are, the first attempt to install which failed was around 6hrs ago from when the logs were built - that is, if the most current timestamp within the log is from when the logs where archived up with the "sudo ./sendlogs" command, then yeah, 6hrs ago from that.
