Happy2Play 8281
Just a guess but sounds like you may not save metadata with media, and this media is being removed and re-added for some reason. Can you post the server log for when this happened.
KRULL 8
This happened to me to, on a Synology though. Emby server update, then noticed a day or so later that all "Recently added movies"was completely wrong, and my largest Collections library went form having over 100 items to just 5. All metadata is stored with the media.

All metadata is stored with the media. An update to mine, I went over it, it was about 10 Movies that were given a new date, one actual movie, and the rest are/were sporting events, two others and web docos. I deleted all of the sporting ones. I removed my Movie library, then re-added it. Those same 10 movies all had their date updated again to today's date. Three Movies I added overnight were still listed as older than these remaining offending movies, and a movie added 1 or 2 prior to them. Luke 37060
I apologize for the disruption. With the 4.4 release, certain libraries for a very limited number of servers were re-scanned and that may have caused this if nfo files were not present. With the 4.4 release, certain libraries for a very limited number of servers were re-scanned and that may have caused this if nfo files were not present. Hello Luke, yes it's true and very disturbing. So i've activated NFO files and daily backup. I've changed added date setup (file creation date instead of library added date) and rescan movies library to generate NFO : but every NFO have 4/4/20 for added date and not file creation date (?) What 've missed ? Is it a way to update date added date with file creation date for my movies ibrary, and in NFOs too ? Thanks for your help
Luke 37060
Yes that's correct, existing ones will require manual modification unfortunately.
