My system is Ubuntu Server 18.04,and my graphics card is Intel HD610, but in 4.5.0.2, I cannot see Intel HD Graphics / VAAPI. This means I cannot do hardware decoding / encoding. In fact, the same problem exists in all versions after 4.4.0.40. Is there a solution?

Everything worked fine in version 4.2.0.26, but this version will lose the media library and crash.

I come from China, but my English is not good, please forgive me.

What I need to add is that my system is ubuntu installed under exsi 6.7 environment.

This is the log file:

Hi, server log + hardware detection log?

Yes,please check it.

I tried to install Intel Media SDK 19.4.0, and now I can see the hardware decoder of MPEG-2, VC-1, H.264, but the hardware encoder still can't see it.

Well, I've switched to the Windows version now. Support for Intel's graphics is much better, except for HDR.
