Question about download conversions

Hi

AVI is a relatively old and deprecated container type. It causes problems dependent on the codecs held within.

So if it is media that you want to play regularly then it is definately worth converting them to mkv enclosing modern video and audio codecs.

thanks man, can ebmy do the conversion or I will have to do it otherwise.

Tried with emby conversion keep failing, so I guess I will have to convert it with another software.

Hi

Emby SHOULD be able to do it which is why @@Luke has asked you for the conversion log to find out as to why it failed.

If emby cannot be made to do it, then I would try handbrake.

I found the problems, I was trying to download stuff for online play because I had plans to go on the road, this mass download generated the conversions,.
