groupmsl 1
Hello, I upgraded to 4.4.0.40 yesterday and since then I am no longer able to tune to radio stations from my HDHomerun tuner. The UI gives the following error message: Playback ErrorNo compatible streams are currently available. Please try again later or contact your system administrator for details. I have attached the log - I don't know what other information might be necessary to work out what is going on? embyserver.txt Edited March 23, 2020 by groupmsl
Sammy 735
You could tune radio stations previously?
ebr 14905
Hi. Using what app?
groupmsl 1
So in the UK on our DVB-T (which we call Freeview) as well as loads of TV channels there are also a bunch of radio stations. Previous to the latest version I could listen to any of them using the Live TV functionality of Emby. I have a HDHomerun HDHR4-2DT configured up to Emby. In this instance I'm using the web client, going to the live TV guide (or channel list) and choosing a radio station. Does that make sense? Luke 37028
Hi there, was any ffmpeg log generated?
groupmsl 1
Morning, It seems no ffmpeg logs are generated when trying to stream a radio station. They are created when you stream an SD (MPEG2) or HD (H264) TV channel. I've also done some more testing this morning and it turns out I can stream radio from the Android app, but not the web app in Firefox (Windows or Linux) or Chrome (Windows). The server seems able to record radio, but I can't even play back the recordings from the web apps - getting the same error as in my first post. I'm really eager to get this working again so let me know if there is anything I can do to help. Media information of the recording: Title: English MP2 stereo Language: English Codec: MP2 Layout: stereo Channels: 2 ch Bitrate: 192 kbps Sample Rate: 48,000 Hz Default: No Container: mpegts Path: /mnt/recordings/Radio 1 Breakfast with Greg James/Radio 1 Breakfast with Greg James 2018-08-20.ts Size: 4MB EDIT: Roku client also cannot stream radio. No ffmpeg logs when attempting to do so. Edited March 24, 2020 by groupmsl
groupmsl 1
I was fiddling with Emby this morning and happened to read the release notes for 4.5.0.3-beta which claimed to "Fix Live TV radio playback" so I changed changed the tag on my docker start script and upgraded. Very pleased to say that it is indeed working again. I'll stay on a beta build at least until this goes into a release. Thank you very much for the quick fix, very happy! groupmsl 1
Hello, I've come across a remaining issue on this thread: Playback of recorded radio has the same problem as my initial post ("No compatible streams are currently available. Please try again later or contact your system administrator for details.") This only seems to be an issue in a web browser (Chrome / Firefox); the Android app and Roku app are both fine. Is it possible to apply the same fix you did for streaming radio to recorded radio? Let me know if you need more logs Edited April 21, 2020 by groupmsl
