Emby on QNAP TS-220?

Hi there

 

I would like to install the emby server on my QNAP-TS220.

 

Unfortunately there is always an error 

 

 

Fehler 2020/03/17 11:19:06 System 127.0.0.1 localhost [App Center] Failed to install Emby Server 4.3.1.0. Installation package is incompatible. Use the correct package.

 

My TS-220 has the newest FW

 

 

4.3.3.1161

 

I tried the version emby-server-qnap_4.3.1.0_x86_64.qpkg and also the version emby-server-qnap_4.3.1.0_arm_64.qpkg

 

Is the QNAP TS-220 too old?

i have a similar vintage nas i no longer use

 

you might want to try the x19 package with qmono - as i did get that working on my ts 412 - think it has a similar Marvel cpu

 

was not very snappy as cpu is single thread - but does work slowly

 

if you have the cash might be time to get something newer

get something with a reasonably powerful intel cpu - or if you have the cash go for a new amd ryzen based NAS

 

any of the arm based NAS's are very underpowered for anything other than a file server

 

and stay away from things like the 831x type nas's - cpu is very underpowered - and lots of reports on qnap forums with people complaining about performance

Hmmm Qmono stopps at 4% - i think my TS-220 is eol
