mcoyle76 2
OK, after I looked through that how to, it looked like exactly what I needed, I just wanted to confirm. Thanks for your help!
mcoyle76 2
@pir8radio @Swynol so I followed the wiki https://emby.media/community/index.php?/topic/44757-setting-up-ssl-for-emby-wip/ for setting up an ssl cert. I can ping my domain that I setup, and it replies back with my routers IP address, but emby doesn't respond when I go to the address. I have the Public http port number set to 80, and I have the public https port number set to 443. I also have ports 80, and 443 on the public ports, and the local ports 8920, and 8096 forwarded to the server on the router. I also, have the external domain name entered into the emby server, and the path to the cert with no password. I am not sure what else I am missing. mcoyle76 2
It says I could not see your service on port 80 or 443. Reason: Connection timed out I know that 80 and 443 were working when the iis server was running, because it displayed the iis webpage, its something i think with emby possibly not responding to the requests from the ports, but that doesn't make since as it responded to the default ports before. mcoyle76 2
Alright, I got it. I had to change the emby ports back to all defaults, an then change the forwarding to external port 80 and the internal port to embys default and the same for 443. Thanks for your time and help!
mcoyle76 2
@@Luke I see that the server has been updated to allow you to add your own images now, thanks! However, I uploaded my own logo and it does not display, I set it as a logo when I uploaded it. Also, I noticed that any previous logos that were uploaded before the server update are gone. I also noticed in the metadata of a song that the field Artists, that sometimes its filled in, and it doesn't display the artist name under a song, and sometimes I have to remove it to get rid of the artist name under a song. mcoyle76 2
@@Luke Sorry, I wasn't thinking of adding the logo to the artist itself, so it applies the logo to all albums associated with the artist, but even when I do that the logo still does not show up, when I go to an album. Also, I noticed that the Fan Art images are not loading when you pick a primary image for the album cover, and when you click on download emby just stalls, maybe there is something wrong with the Fan Art site. I do not see the banners loading either when you add a banner to an artist. I am not sure how you are suppose to see the back of the album or the box (rear) of the album unless this is not loading either? This is the error message that you get sometimes connecting to fanart Cancelling connection to https://assets.fanart.tv/fanart/music/47c8f88b-987a-4b64-9175-2b1b57809727/albumcover/kings--queens-of-the-underground-544296319e8ca.jpg due to a previous timeout. but it could be their site. I see the artist logo loads in the windows app, but not in the web player, or the mobile app. Edited March 23, 2020 by mcoyle76
mcoyle76 2
@@Luke I see that the logos are displaying in the web player in the browser. If there is an issue connecting with one of the image resources like fan art, the audiodb, or musicbrainz will the image not display? Also, where is the artists banner suppose to display? I do not see it loading anywhere.
