I searched for this feature request and surprised i couldn't find it considering the overwhelming number of posts i've seen asking for it.

We'd like to be able to load custom CSS on the mobile(and other) apps and on app.emby.media

Yea the main issue is we have to ensure we retain app store compliance, so that means we'd have to do things like strip out urls to external domains, probably not allow the content attribute on pseudo classes like :before, :after, and I'm sure other things of that nature.

I see

Well I'd say something is better than nothing.

I'm sure we can deal with the limitations.

Seems like this is something you've thought about before, which is reassuring.

If you want to go through the effort, you can decompile the APK, add the css, build the APK & sign it

I've done it, it's a bit tedious but it's worth it

For your own personal use, we don't really care but please note that this explicitly breaks our terms of use so please do not distribute or use beyond your person.

Thanks.

I’d do it if I were an android user

Can we add custom CSS to non mobile apps? If im using LG webos app, can I add custom css somewhere, if yes - where?

custom css is just for the web app and you will find it in dashboard > settings
