Sticky Views

Please can you make the options for starting inside a section "sticky" actually stick?

 

For example, when I enter MUSIC I have the option set to default to ALBUM ARTISTS, but ROKU doesn't honour this yet other apps do.

 

Also, for MUSIC VIDEOS, the ROKU default view of ALL VIDEOS just clumped together as one big list is not what I would want (and many other people). In this library I have to select FOLDERS to get the correct view and again, this is not sticky. The other apps go into a FOLDERS view automatically (Samsung, LG, Apple TV and except the web version, iOS and Android) without having to select that view every time. Seeing all videos is fine if you have a tiny music videos library.

 

This is my structure for MUSIC VIDEOS:

 

\\nas01\Media\Music Videos\

 

Sub-Folders named as genres:

 

Blues

Country

Dance

Live Concerts

Musicals

New Age

Pop

Reggae

Rock

R&B

Ska

Soul

 

in each genre folder I have:

Artist\Album (or Single) Name\Artist Name - Trackname.mp4

with a folder.jpg (200x100 96 dpi) in the Artist\Album folder to represent the artist. This size of image was from Windows Media Center days when this was the ideal size for native video gallery, not too big.

Each track has embedded IDv3.2 tags and cover art for the music video artist (300x300 96dpi)

Hi.  This just isn't implemented in this app yet.  It should be coming soon.
