I believe "Original Title" is used for searching, so you could enter the information there. It's not displayed anywhere I'm aware of, so it won't look "wrong" or anything.

I have Lucky Number Sleven, which was released here as The Wrong Man, and Airplane!, released here as Flying High! I have their Australian titles as the Title, and their US titles as the Original Title, and they show up when I search for either.

Example:

I use sort titles to display these movies together and in the correct order:

- Raiders of the Lost Ark

- Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom

- Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade

- Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull

Without sort title the first movie displays under "R" and the other under "I". But I want them to be display together.

Other example:

Title / original Title:

Transformers

Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen

Transformers: Dark of the Moon

Transformers: Age of Extinction

Transformers: The Last Knight

Bumblebee

Sort titles:

Transformers 1

Transformers 2

Transformers 3

Transformers 4

Transformers 5

Transformers 6

So they are in the correct order and all together.

Exactly. Just put ‘Bumblebee AKA Transformers 6’ in original title field and it will show up in search. That’s what I do with the alternative titles present. Sort title doesn’t have to do anything with the search results.

Thanks for the inputs. But I like to use the original title field for the actual original title as intended.

To use the sort title in search results was just a feature request.

Cheers
