deepac7 5
.m2ts strikes again.I have two .m2ts files. One is in AVC and other in HEVC.At this point I am aware m2ts play back is experimental so I have enabled external player (kodi). Server and client is on shieldtv. When I play HEVC file, kodi open up, plays the video perfectly. No problem whatsoever. (A notification banner pops up on kodi which says "playing mpeg-ts"And then when I play the AVC file, video goes all choppy. Audio - god knows whats happening there AND on kodi the banner says "streaming MKV" I repeat both these files are .m2ts. emby passes the HEVC without any problem. AVC, not so much.Attached are the media info.I am not sure it's AVC vs. HEVC issue or something else. HEVC.txt AVC.txt
Luke 36884
Hi, so you're playing from Kodi? Is that using EmbyCon inside of Kodi?
Solution deepac7 5 Posted March 3, 2020 Author Solution Share Posted March 3, 2020 Hi, so you're playing from Kodi? Is that using EmbyCon inside of Kodi? Yes, it is. Turns out the problem was not even m2ts. The file was in "stream" folder (bluray structure) and also had plex data (folder named "others" inside it) Removed them just now and it works fine. It didn't even occur to me that would cause such a problem.
