Guest
Hi there. I've got one file that I ripped from one of my DVDs. The audio is totally fine until I put it into Emby. After that I've tried playing on Nvidia Shield, browser, and Apple TV and it sounds horrible. Just loud noise in the foreground . I can't figure out what the issue is with the audio unfortunately. File was created from DVD Video_TS folder to MKV using MakeMKV. Attached is the info on the file. Help appreciated.

Guest
Hi there, let's look at an example. Please attach the information requested in how to report a media playback issue: https://emby.media/community/index.php?/topic/790-how-to-report-a-problem/?view=getnewpost Thanks! HI Luke, Thanks for the reply. I've pulled the 3 logs from around the time I just tested the file again that has problems. Additionally I recorded a short clip of the sound if that is helpful at all. I attempted playback this time with Microsoft Edge (New Chromium Based) but as I mentioned before it happens with all players and hardware with the same audio issue. Hopefully I got the required logs. If additional data is needed, please let me know. Thank you. Luke 37045
@@softworkz may have some ideas. I don't see anything obvious here though. Can you provide a sample file for testing?

I'm afraid it's a bit out of our scope to provide support for media files created with 3rd party tools. Actually I don't even know that tool. Searching for "makemkv audio problems" returns quite a number of results. I would focus on these first: https://www.makemkv.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=19867 https://www.makemkv.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=20589 Also, before we can look any further, could you please verify that the file you have generated is playing fine in at least two or three different players?
