Missing Apple TV feature: long press menu

Apple TV remote has a great feature to bring out a menu when remote selection button is long pressed.  You can see in other similar apps there are many possibilities how it can be used yet emby is not using it all. Here is a wishlist. Feel free to share your ideas. 

Long press menu for libraries:

 

-scan library for update

-shuffle

 

Long press menu for collections:

-shuffle
 

Long press menu for media items:

 

-refresh metadata

-download subtitles

-play item

-favorite item

-mark played

-add to collection

Hi.  This is just a context menu and just a feature we haven't gotten to yet in this app.  When we do, we will emulate the options available in the other apps for their context menus.

 

Since this isn't really a feature request we need to track (it is something we will certainly eventually do) I'm going to move this to the Apple TV section.

I put it in feature requests because I think, except few of us masochists, no user of sound mind visit this swamps of Apple Tv forums. It’s really a shame how this app is neglected. Because the device is great. As I understand you have only one volunteer who does stuff for Apple Tv and it is obviously not enough. I can’t say there are no improvements over last two years but it is hurtful how little it is. I gave up on expectations so many times and I got frustrated times 10 but I still use emby on Apple TV. Infuse announced support for emby. If they do it right I might stop visiting Apple TV forum...
