Well that was basically my point. I would think you would be able to do most of the things you want to do with the NAS with the windows machine. Again unless you have some special usage where the NAS is needed.
To be honest, I don't have any major reason to get the NAS. However, I might find the NAS useful to store other data, such as family pictures, computer backups, and other data as well.
