LookyLooky 0
Hi, after adding some new Films I recogniced that they weren't added like they used to be before. Poorly I made the mistake to remove the old bib and create a new one before reading here. I seems to be a common problem at this time: https://emby.media/community/index.php?/topic/81482-error-scanning-files/ Can someone tell me a working solution please? LookyLooky 0
There are many errors in the log: Error HttpServer: Error processing request Error App: Error in TheMovieDb Error ProviderManager: Error in metadata saver The server worked well for a long time. I regularly install the updates. This is really annoying!

Luke 37046
It appears you enabled saving of nfo files but the server does not have write access to your media folders.

Saving of NFO is enabled, but not saving in media folders. Like I already said: I didn't make any changes since installation. Only updates of system and emby itself. Happy2Play 8273
Saving of NFO is enabled, but not saving in media folders. Like I already said: I didn't make any changes since installation. Only updates of system and emby itself. If you enabled Metadata savers NFO, then it is saved with media. With the option disabled info is only written to database. Luke 37046
Saving of NFO is enabled, but not saving in media folders. Because of the read-only file system error that is filling up your log files. The server is trying to save the nfo files to your media directories, but your system is not allowing it. Does this address your concern?
mprecup 0
I'm also having this error. I've read through a couple of threads similar and have a couple of questions. Which directory is the server having the issues with? /opt/emby-server is root root and /TV is emby emby. The server can create a folder in /TV. So, is it trying to save the nfo files in /opt/emby-server/ somewhere? Also, is saving nfo files to the media directories necessary? Thank you. Also, is saving nfo files to the media directories necessary? That is entirely your personal preference.
mprecup 0
I've worked it out. This was the error I was getting. I turned off NFO and started poking around through syslog and checking directories with ls -al. I ended up doing chown -R emby:emby /mnt/md0 and added my user to the emby group. Restarted everything and re added NFO's. 2020-02-26 10:37:43.165 Error App: Error running postscan task *** Error Report *** Version: 4.1.1.0 Command line: /opt/emby-server/system/EmbyServer.dll -programdata /var/lib/emby -ffdetect /opt/emby-server/bin/ffdetect -ffmpeg /opt/emby-server/bin/ffmpeg -ffprobe /opt/emby-server/bin/ffprobe -restartexitcode 3 -updatepackage emby-server-deb_{version}_amd64.deb Operating system: Unix 4.15.0.88 64-Bit OS: True 64-Bit Process: True User Interactive: True Runtime: file:///opt/emby-server/system/System.Private.CoreLib.dll Processor count: 32 Program data path: /var/lib/emby Application directory: /opt/emby-server/system MediaBrowser.Model.Net.HttpException: MediaBrowser.Model.Net.HttpException: InternalServerError at Emby.Server.Implementations.HttpClientManager.CoreHttpClientManager.SendAsyncInternal(HttpRequestOptions options, String httpMethod) at Emby.Server.Implementations.HttpClientManager.CoreHttpClientManager.SendAsync(HttpRequestOptions options, String httpMethod) at Tvdb.TvdbPrescanTask.GetSeriesIdsToUpdate(IEnumerable`1 existingSeriesIds, String lastUpdateTime, CancellationToken cancellationToken) at Tvdb.TvdbPrescanTask.Run(IProgress`1 progress, CancellationToken cancellationToken) at Emby.Server.Implementations.Library.LibraryManager.RunPostScanTasks(IProgress`1 progress, CancellationToken cancellationToken) Source: Emby.Server.Implementations TargetSite: Void MoveNext() Thank you!
