socalredneck 11 Posted February 14, 2020 Posted February 14, 2020 Hello, Not sure if this is known or not, I did search the forum and didn't find anything specifically related to this issue. I have an Audio Books library setup, and I know it worked in the past, but unfortunately I haven't used it much. I went to listen to a book last night and noticed that none of the files show up in the libraries book. I verified the files are still on my server, and in .mp3 format. When I select down from Audio Books, to Author, to a book, inside the book I get "No items found." I'm running Version 4.3.1.0, but I don't know when the audio book files stopped showing up. Thank you.
Luke 40017 Posted February 14, 2020 Posted February 14, 2020 Hi, did you setup the library using the audio books content type?
socalredneck 11 Posted February 14, 2020 Author Posted February 14, 2020 Yes. I know it worked back when I set it up, I just haven't used this feature for months.
Luke 40017 Posted February 14, 2020 Posted February 14, 2020 Have you also added the same folder to another library?
socalredneck 11 Posted February 15, 2020 Author Posted February 15, 2020 No, I don't think so. On my system, I have an Audio Books directory, Movies, My Music, etc... All of my audio books are in the audio books directory, then the author's directories, and the individual books under that. My music and movies have their on directories. Is that what you're asking?
socalredneck 11 Posted February 21, 2020 Author Posted February 21, 2020 Here is a list of my libraries. emby Library - folder on my F: drive server Audio Books - F:\Audio Books Camera Uploads - F:\Cell_Phone Movies - F:\Movies Music - F:\My Music Pictures - F:\My Pictures Recordings - F:\Recorded TV TV - F:\TV Shows
Luke 40017 Posted February 21, 2020 Posted February 21, 2020 What does your f:\audio books folder structure look like?
socalredneck 11 Posted February 28, 2020 Author Posted February 28, 2020 Emby server is up to date, with version 4.3.1.0
Luke 40017 Posted February 28, 2020 Posted February 28, 2020 Can you show a screenshot of emby library setup showing all of the libraries? Thanks.
Luke 40017 Posted February 28, 2020 Posted February 28, 2020 Ok, remove the audio books library, then recreate it with the audio books content type.
Solution PenkethBoy 2066 Posted February 28, 2020 Solution Posted February 28, 2020 (edited) you need to use the Audiobook library type - not books [edit] - too slow Edited February 28, 2020 by PenkethBoy 1
socalredneck 11 Posted February 28, 2020 Author Posted February 28, 2020 Worked like a charm!!! Thank you!
