JaScoMa 33 Posted January 30, 2020 Share Posted January 30, 2020 Hello.. I've been testing different servers; first my QNAP TS-451+ and now my nVidia Sheild. Can say there doesn't seem to be any issues with either and they seem to work well with my setup. HW Transcoding (of a mkv) with the QNAP resulted in the CPU temp showing 150 degrees (ouch) and with the nVidia shield, the emby server chewed up all the system ram (16GB), so an external storage device will be needed. Anyway, one thing I noticed with the nVidia shield is that there isn't a way to restart the server from the web interface. If I have to restart the server, I have to exit what I'm watching on the shield, go to the emby server app, stop it and then restart it. Is this a limitation of Android which won't allow the server app to be restarted via a web interface? Thanks.. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
