jriker1 16
Was curious. I am still using Windows Media Center with my XBox 360 devices and when I get a file that Emby is trying to play that is an MP4 file encoded with X265 10bit the audio plays but the video is blank. Should Emby be re-encoding it? Is there a way for it to tell and do that? I thought in theory anything the destination device couldn't support would be stream encoded but looks like either that isn't happening or is but is not working right. I know the streaming shows in the corner for a longer period but still the content is blank.
ebr 14850
Hi. Our old WMC app simply never got that sophisticated with transcoding decisions. The assumption is basically that your device can play your content.
