kanipek 224
i did get emby to work with the 20 channels just downloaded hdhome run software but only displays the 20 channels Can you screenshot the lineup page of the tuner web interface: http://ipaddressoftuner/lineup.html If 1 screenshot won't show all the channels please do multiple screenshots. If you read the forums over at SiliconDust there is some talk about DRM only working when your computer is HDCP compliant. See here for an explanation of HDCP: https://help.stan.com.au/hc/en-us/articles/204200898-What-is-HDCP-compliant- So that could be an issue. kanipek 224
cant load that link you sent me for the lineup id assume you means theses? You just need to put the ip address of your tuner in there but yes looks like you found it. BUT something doesn't look right there with the channels. Can you make it bigger? Where are you located? Have you had the CableCard provisioned by your Cable TV company? See attached for what I am seeing from mine - One is from a connect and the other a Prime Check "Conditional Access" "CableCard Status" and "CableCard Pairing" in the tuner web interface. kanipek 224
The provisioning of the CableCard doesn't look correct/complete. Card OOB Lock weak - This is a problem. Might be related to the provisioning, but more likely an issue with how the tuner is connected. I have seen this previously when the tuner gets connected to a splitter that is connected to a splitter and so on, also all splitters are not created equal and they do go bad. So that is something to look at. Do you know or can you describe the layout of the cable from the point it enters the home? Did the cable TV provider understand what an HDHomeRun Prime is? Used to be a BIG issue with getting the card set up correctly. Which provider are you using?
deadscope 0
no idea how it enters the home and its sounded like they kind of knew what the Hdhome run was but couldnt tell and im using cox cable
kanipek 224
I would make a call to them and see what they can determine about the status of the card. Also maybe poke around the home and see if you can determine the layout. If you can figure that out and connect the tuner directly to the first splitter that would help with figuring this out. If it happens to be more than a 2-way splitter, you'll want to hook it up to the output with the least db loss. 2-way splitters are equal -3db each output 3-way have 2 -3db and a -7db outputs. Another thought - Do you require a tuning adapter?: https://www.cox.com/content/dam/cox/residential/support/tv/print_media/Tuning_Adapter_Self_InstallGuide_Motorola.pdf I am think that might be the case. Cox Cable Info: http://media.cox.com/support/print_media/tv/equipment/user_guides/cable_box/CableCardSelfInstallGuide_Motorola.pdf A lot of info, things to check. If anything doesn't make sense let me know.

kanipek 224
im using 4 or 5 spliter but only using two outlets can you reccomend me a two splinter? Here is an example: https://www.amazon.com/GE-Amplifiers-Compatible-Connectors-33526/dp/B0054EILOE/ref=sr_1_2?keywords=2+digital+cable+splitter&qid=1580092635&sr=8-2 There may be other splitters on the line. Not unheard of to get a bad CableCard either. Been there done that. So to be clear - You have 2 CableCards. 1 in the Tivo 1 in the Prime?
