Vicpa 552
Hi Not sure if I need to do a feature request or if there is a setting currently. I rip all my movies with at least one AC3 track. As I have a variety of users with different capabilities this is not always the "default" audio track. My Fire TV users just hit play and probaly have no clue the difference DTS, AC3 etc. The app knows if it can play DTS or not, but currently doesn't seem to check if there is a AC3 track in the source and currently does a stream copy of the video and an conversion of the DTS track to AC3. This may be a moot point if the Fire can not play MKV's directly. The Fire seems to be the device of choice for my external users but I am not really familiar with all the ins and outs. My Android TV users would benefit as well Thanks! -vicpa
Luke 37019
All of our apps follow Emby user preferences, which means that other criteria are considered first.
ebr 14904
We have to go by things like language and default flags because there is no way to know that the content contains the proper soundtrack (your AC3 one could be commentary).
