T&J 8 Posted January 23, 2020 Share Posted January 23, 2020 Just wanted to say kudos to the admins and alot of the advanced users (Problem solvers for newbies) Cut the cord a little over a year ago put an antenna in the attic (hurricane country) signed up for Plex and within a month they were getting rid of there plugins so found Emby. I loved it right from the start (Alot more control plus remote viewing of live tv) WAF (wife acceptance factor) at the time was probably 20 percent. Good for movies but that was it. She hated it. I am a person that trys to figures stuff out themselves which probably has something to do with the low WAF but at the time for her it was more about the live tv end. Today the WAF has jumped to between 80 to 90 percent.She likes it. So to everybody Admins and everybody on the forum that helps people out a big THANK YOU And to those like me that try to figure things out by themselves. My LiveTV setup works great with two HDHomeRun Connect Quatro tuners and two HDHomeRun Prime tuners in Emby. I record between 3 and 10 programs a day and watch LiveTV every day on any of several ShieldTV's in my house. Emby does all that and so much more.
