Guest Posted January 23, 2020 Share Posted January 23, 2020 Hi there. I'm been using Emby for about a month now. I've been working on putting chapters in all my MKV files using MKVToolnix. So far been working great. Today I edited a few files' chapter markers using MKVToolnix and saved as usual but now none of the new files will show the chapter markers after metadata refresh as I had been doing. I've attached two snips of one of my working chapter videos and one of the ones i did today and is not working. Shrunk down a lot so i could get the whole screen in but you can see the chapters at the bottom of the first one but nothing in the second. Both were done the same with with MKVToolnix and as I mentioned this has happened with every file I did today. Hopefully that's what you're looking for. Thank you! EDIT: The file that is not working shouldn't have the other stuff there like the one that is working does but that is expected by me and have similar files that don't have all the people etc. that worked fine. I opened it up this morning and now everything is there. No idea how. I've attached the thumbnail settings I have on this library to this message. Not sure exactly which one you are looking for. Also had another question on the same topic if you don't mind. Sometimes my files have previous chapter markers but I have to go in and clean up the times on them using MKVToolnix but I don't believe the thumbnails are updating to the new time point for the chapter. It might have happened later but I'm not positive. Is that something that happens on a maintenance schedule? Is there a way to force recreation of those chapter thumbnail images.
